Kai Wang

I am an independent researcher and inventor working across artificial intelligence, adaptive systems, and complex systems.

My current public research focuses on how organised systems change through time: how they adapt, preserve useful structure, and maintain continuity while changing.

The core framework includes Connection Theory, the Flow Shaping Principle, and Evolutionary Relativity, together with related work on adaptive AI systems.

Background

My background combines scientific research, computational biology, industry experience, and organizational management.

  • PhD in Medicine, Aarhus University — doctoral research in computational biology.
  • MSc in Biosystems and Informatics, University of Liverpool.
  • BSc in Biotechnology, Wuhan University.

Earlier peer-reviewed research appeared in BMC Bioinformatics, BMC Genomics, and Proteomics. I later worked in biotechnology and management before moving primarily into independent research, writing, and technology development.
