Flow Shaping Principle v3.7.0
Correspondence-Calibrated Pathway-Specific Updating
Author: Kai Wang
Version: 3.7.0
Status: Preprint
Role: Active updating / consequence–configuration correspondence
The Flow Shaping Principle asks when consequences can correctly shape a consequence-sensitive adaptive organization. Its central empirical burden is not the broad observation that organization constrains flow, but whether veridical consequence–configuration correspondence prospectively predicts correspondence-correct persistent shaping under pre-specified tests.
The primary canonical test domain is an instrumentable artificial adaptive system. The framework explicitly separates practical design implications from empirical validation and remains at a pre-validation theoretical stage until its specified manipulation and transfer tests are completed.
Research role
FSP is the active-updating layer of the research program. It narrows the question from whether a system changes to whether persistent change is correctly associated with the configuration to which the relevant consequence belongs.
